What we look for.
STEM.org Reviewed™ focuses on the educational experience created by the content: what it teaches, how clearly it communicates, and whether the STEM claims made for the material are supported by the submission.
STEM alignmentHow clearly the content connects to science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics.
Educational valueWhether the material supports learning, inquiry, understanding, skill development, or useful application.
Accuracy & clarityHow effectively the content communicates its ideas and supports the needs of its intended audience.

How Review Works
A clear evidence-based pathway
Register
Identify the title, curriculum, media resource, or content scope being submitted through the existing registration pathway.
Submit Evidence
Provide the content, supporting materials, educational claims, and documentation requested for the review.
Independent Review
The submission is evaluated against the applicable 100-point STEM.org rubric. Clarification may be requested when needed.
Decision & Verification
Qualifying submissions receive the credential, STEM ID, evaluation result, and approved brand assets for the awarded scope.
Typical review timeline: approximately 7–14 days after required evidence is submitted. Complex reviews may require additional time or clarification.

What types of content can be submitted?
Books, curriculum, instructional resources, digital content, educational video, multimedia, and other published STEM learning materials may be appropriate candidates.
What score is required?
Where the scored content rubric applies, 82 out of 100 is the minimum award threshold. Eligible content scoring 95 or higher may also receive Best In STEM™ recognition.
Does payment guarantee a review award?
No. Payment begins the applicable evaluation process. Recognition depends on the submitted content, supporting evidence, and final evaluation result.
How long does the review take?
A typical determination is completed in approximately 7–14 days after the required evidence is submitted. More complex reviews can take longer.
